My research focuses on the functioning and conservation of tropical wetland ecosystems. For my master’s degree, I investigated the ecology of river ecosystems. For my DPhil in Biology at the University of Oxford, I aim to explore how land-use change and human disturbance affect biodiversity and ecosystem functioning in tropical peatlands. I am particularly interested in understanding how these changes influence ecological interactions and ecosystem services to support more sustainable land management strategies.
