Research Interests
My research interests are soil functions and diversity in relation to agricultural practices. More specifically, I want to explore how the functional ecology of soil dwelling communities alters with changes in grazing management practices that are incorporated as part of regenerative agriculture. Prior to beginning the NERC Environmental Research DTP program, I completed a BSc (Hons) in Zoology and then an MRes in Ecology and Environmental Biology, both at the University of Glasgow. During my undergraduate project, I studied the variation in biodiversity along a spatial gradient of urbanisation, while in my masters I examined deer monitoring methods and their utility for deer management.
