Research Interests
My DPhil research will explore recent adaptation in UK wasp and fly species in response to human-driven environmental change. I am interested in leveraging historical insect collections with next generation sequencing to identify genetic and demographic shifts in insect populations and assess their potential evolutionary resilience in the face of ecological, chemical and climatic pressures.
Before my DPhil, I did a BSc in Biological Sciences at Imperial College London. I was then awarded a Leverhulme Scholarship to conduct an MSc in Ecology, Evolution and Systematics at Ludwig Maximilians University Munich, where I explored ecologically-associated divergence in Heliconius butterflies.
