Research Interests

I am broadly interested in tropical forest ecology, the roles of insects within these systems and the impact of disturbance upon them. My current research aims to understand the roles that insect herbivores may have upon tropical forest plant communities through mechanisms such as ‘apparent competition’ and ‘apparent mutualism’.
